The Astro-Tech AT22XB is a very high quality 2" Barlow with a 1.25" eyepiece adapter that will double the power of any 2" or 1.25" eyepiece it is used with. It uses a fully multicoated doublet optical system with an ED (Extra low Dispersion glass) element for true apochromatic (color-free) performance. The lens edges are blackened for high contrast. Color correction and sharpness are excellent. This 2" Astro-Tech Barlow adds nothing to your eyepiece image except an increase in magnification.

The body of this Astro-Tech 2" Barlow is CNC-machined from aluminum, hard anodized black for long life. The clear aperture is 37mm so that you can use wide-field 2" eyepieces without vignetting. Both the 2" Barlow itself and the supplied 1.25" eyepiece adapter use non-marring soft brass compression rings to hold your eyepieces securely in place. A knurled rubber grip ring in the body assures a firm grip on this 13.7 oz. Astro-Tech Barlow in cold or damp weather.
